Can you come to my house and do that? Great video!
Really well made , concise and essy to understand video. Thsnk you so much
❤
this is serious hollywood grade quality there homies!
Straight to the point. No BS!
Turning a new breaker is the electricians job in case anything is wrong.
The old timer's such as Richard and Tommy can't go on forever - they will eventually retire like Roger and Norm. When they do, I think it is Kevin that will keep the show together. What do you think?
Rest in Peace Russ. You left us with a lifetime of memories. And you made us feel like we were part of your family. What a legacy.
I love how they're always like "our budget is tight" in the early videos but then install Ipe and massive patios with complicated brick patterns later.
I hope next week has a tribute to Russ, for his dedication and vision. He brought true DIY content to the people, faithfully, before and better than anyone else thus far.
Their UA-cam channel does not showcase the current season of the show, so there wouldn't be any tribute to Russ in these episodes. They have posted a special tribute to Russ though as a standalone video. They also made one for the New Yankee Workshop channel.
3:48 always YT man getting personal 😂
Any experience with Tesla solar panels a
Old time new englanders reminds me of my pops great trades man
noway you don't feel the heat from that.
On a 20ft gutter, any idea how much pitch is needed from high end to lower end? Like 1in drop from upper to lower gutter. More or less? Thx.
Norm said 35 years? Nuh uh. 45.
I was surprised to see Tommy use a corded circular saw, especially on a roof… in current times.
Why the round holes cut in the outside planks?
Thats not big enough to do anything. All he did was get to hang out with a hot girl for a couple hours.
It was just an Illustration of the wrong way to do it
How big are the screws?
Nobody needs a highschool diploma....just put people to work. if someone from another country that doesn't speak the language can do these things why do American born people need a diploma or degree?? I was born in America but why do I need a diploma and or a degree???? I can do most of this work if I was just shown how to do it. And givin' a chance . Makes no sense why it's so (hard )to get in the trades
"I was born in America but why do I need a diploma and or a degree????" The answer is very simple. The Federal Government and American corporation; discriminate against Americans. The left paint it as systemic racism against blacks, but skin color has nothing to do with it. Nation of origin does. Back in 2005 or 2006 I read a story in which a corporations got the government to issue visas to bring migrant workers to the US because; "There were no qualified workers". They had their American citizen employee train the migrants and after the migrants were trained, they terminated the American employee. Basically, the American employee trained his replacement that was given a lower pay rate than the American employee.
Is that whole shade area for a pool party?
Because he took less pay than Bob. It’s called stepping on someone toes. Cheap shot.
Awesome stuff. Any idea what something like this would cost if you had it done by a contractor? I'm looking to do something similar with my deck. Would also want to add cement bases like theyve got here too.
A National Treasure. RIP good sir.
Gotta love they don't tell you what things cost labor and materials etc. That heat pump, etc, is BIG money. Rich peoples homes.
Do you have a central air conditioner?
Well if you want a show about renovating an entire house bottom to top then you are going to be looking at rich people.
What I liked most about the video was the interview with Deliandro, effort and perseverance, Congratulations Deliandro!
Love the Deliandro success story.
me watching remodeling videos when I am supposed to paint the bathroom only
Lovely! Grew up watching them starting with Crockett’s Victory Garden. ❤ RIP Russ
This Old House is still around. Glad you're still around.
But for how long because of last weekend finding out Russ passed away.
@@4HBirtcherI don't think Russ has been involved in the show for a long time. The show has been bought and sold a couple of times over the years. I believe Roku now owns it.
The basket weave pattern was my fav.
Useless for a 2 hinge door
What is this
It's an awesome show is what it is
It's Can't Miss Tuesday afternoon programming@@nandoism7731
What is that? What is what? That is that. That is what? 😁🤣😂😉😜
It is what it is
Russ was truly one of a kind. Godspeed Russ & see you again on the other side 🙏🏻💙
Rest in peace, Russ, and thank you. You truly changed the world
We just bought a house with an 80 ft wide deck. Thank you for this!
Will this work on a marble countertop?
Some Toto brand toilets use special hardware - expandable rubber tube that goes into the hole. A long stainless steel screw with a flat washer is screwed into it and tightened, which causes the rubber tube to expand inside the hole and pull tight. Installation is all done topside. Because it is rubber, you can screw it very tight and it won’t harm the porcelain. Much better, more secure fastener then plastic bolts.
Where can we find this product?? Who’s the manufacturer?
Says a lot about the power of television in the right hands. PBS has enriched my life from cooking as a teenager with Julia, to building stuff with Norm, or taking care of my old house. I’ve always felt and appreciated the authenticity. Such a wonderful spark Russ unleashed. I couldn’t be more grateful. My heart goes out to everyone Russ touched, but especially to his family and fiends who knew him well. Thanks, Russ, rest in peace!
Where is the rest of this build?
Helpful. Thank you.
wow, awesome video, Thanks. now even more questions, how is power distributed when the system alternates? And if AC alternates, why does it seems to still have a direction of hot wire, to appliance, and continues direction back to panel? perhaps the terminology is confusing to me, considering it's a force that cannot be seen.
Russ morash was a true American treasure may his soul rest in peace and may his family and friends be comforted.
I'm actually not surprised that Tom knows how to sew, my mom taught me the basics too. I'm one of those odd people who thing the ability to fix a tear or replace a button is just as important as the ability to cut a board and drive a nail. And making a straight cut with a table saw seems like child's play once you've learned to run a straight seam on a sewing machine.
Your buying a dream house that was was some else dream home. The renovated the crap out of everything and now they don't like the dream home anymore. Now they tack on all of the cost they dumped into the so called dream home on the sale of the house. Now the realtor steps in an wants their cut. So they add more $$$ ontop of the selling price. Remember the realtor gets their cut first. The new dream home owner step in. The wife doesn't like the colors, the kitchen setup because of the previous owner designs. A new kitchen cost 50k to satisfy her wants. Next is the bathroom. She wants a tub. Another 15k. 5 years later she doesn't like the dream home. Time to unload the money pit and get your money back. Guess what, they add the money they invested to the money pit. Now the new home owners will need to pay for their dislikes. Then comes in the realtor. They now add thier cut again.😅😅😅
I think you mean April 19. Before the British got to Concord, they went through Lexington and the locals knew what happened there. I will say the people in Lexington are very curteous and will stop so you can cross the streets.
i really don't like how the electrician made his connection on the LED strip, not how i would do it and it would be more resistant to water and faster with better connections
